How many people have been on a diet , losing a few pounds, only to put the weight back on when they start eating normally again? How much effort and will power is required just to lose those few pounds?
The problem here is that the underlying issues are not being addressed.
With hypnotherapy I work with the issues around weight gain and eating disorders.
We are designed to eat a healthy balanced diet that keeps us healthy, alert and leading productive lives, so what goes wrong.
Maybe we eat for comfort, to eleviate boredom, to satisfy an emotional need. Maybe it’s habitual or we require that sugar spike to get us through the day. All these issues and more can be addressed with the use of hypnotherapy.
By training the mind to want what is natural and healthy rather than what is unhealthy we can not only take control of our eating habits, but we can take control of our lives, healthier, more confident, more self aware and ultimately more successful.
On our initial consultation I will discuss my clients history, any issues that might arise around food and the clients association with food, what is holding the client back from being the person they want to be.
Using my person centred approach I will agree a therapy plan based on the individual clients requirements.
